The Foyer at Abbington Green Bed and Breakfast 
Approach Abbington Green Bed and Breakfast from the expansive, comfortably furnished front porch, step through the double front doors, and you are in the FOYER. It's a lovely room rather than just a hallway. Home designs by the architect, Richard Sharp Smith, frequently made these entry rooms into important spaces that can also be used for entertaining. The room has high ceilings, nearly 10' high throughout, which makes it feel very spacious.
The foyer of our North Carolina B&B is furnished with an antique mahogany Chippendale secretary desk, interesting mirrors, an antique table with book-matched walnut burl veneers, and a 10-arm brass chandelier.
