Queen Mary's Garden Room

In London, England, Queen Mary's Gardens are lovely, large formal gardens located behind magnificent iron and gold gates in the heart of Regent's Park. Any time from May to October, the air in this lovely London oasis is perfumed with the scent of thousands of roses. It's no surprise that you'll find our QUEEN MARY'S GARDEN room has a theme that also relates to roses.

The bed is a queen size cherry rice style four-poster. The crown drapery at its' head includes soothing shades of ivory jacquard and damask. The bed is dressed in damask and silks and a down duvet in shades of beige and ecru. The bed skirt is linen with woven roses in shades of beige and taupe.

Two wingback chairs are great places to relax at the end of your day. A pair of classical column lamps and a pewter floor lamp provide soft, clear light for reading in the evening. The mahogany writing table provides a space to catch up on your correspondence or make entries in your travel journal about your day's activities.

Framed botanical rose prints and actual photos, taken by the Innkeeper, of the London garden namesake, are featured in our Queen Mary's Garden room. Chinese rugs are ivory with soft floral colors.

And, for a touch of the modern, a 26" widescreen LCD TV hangs on the wall

The hand finished wall treatment, and the subtly soothing neutral color palette of taupe, beige, ecru and ivory create the feeling of a perfect secret garden escape.
