Yup, this is the 22nd time that we here at this Asheville bed and breakfast have had the opportunity to go and shop for herbs…herbs for our garden and herbs that will make their way to your breakfast table when you stay with us. The Spring Herb Festival is held this weekend…actually starting today, April 29th…at the WNC Farmers Market.

At least 60 growers and vendors are on hand with fresh herb plants, herbal essences and oils. You’ll also find gardening tips, books, rain barrels as well as handmade soaps and medicinal herbs. So if you have the opportunity to come to Asheville (also to our bed and breakfast!)this weekend, be sure to stop by the WNC Farmers Market, located on Brevard Road, at exit 47 from I-40. It’s on from 9am-5pm today and Saturday and on Sunday, May 1st, from 10am-3pm. Always feels like Spring is here when you get to start your newest herbs in pots or in your garden!
